The Altar In A Box got it's beginning rather humbly as a birthday gift to Ravenn from Rowann in the 1990s. She placed all the "necessary" items in it, plus some personal items, special to only them. Ravenn still carries her box to outings, so that her altar is ready to go while on the road.
These are ready-to-go altar kits that come in a lovely wooden box. Wonderful for taking on an outing, or if you wish to keep your altar safely away from prying eyes. Since the leather-bound wooden boxes are very hard to come by (and are becoming more expensive) as time passes, Rowann is constantly looking for ways to update the look of the Altar Boxes...check back often as they'll no doubt change.
These kits includes (unless otherwise specified):
An altar cloth (in your choice of colors), mini cast iron cauldron, and two black and white mini tapers. Two incenses: Gonesh #6, and Frankincense, plus charcoal and a brass incense burner. Also includes a sample of Sage, two sea shells (representing the Lord and Lady), a sample of coarse sea salt, and a brass bell. Makes a great gift for the neophyte practitioner.
**Kits do not include athames, swords, or wands.**
